Requirements
- Training in accordance with the courses
- Risk Management Representative (RB)
- Risk Manager (RM)
- Project work
- 4 years of qualified professional practice; out of these 2 years in a company with systematic risk assessment (e.g. companies with an implemented management system).
Format
The written examination consists of multiple choice questions and takes 30 minutes.
The oral examination consists of a presentation and an in-depth discussion of the project work as well as additional questions from the courses Risk Management Representative and Risk Manager.
Duration: 30 minutes
Certificate

Upon successful completion of the examination and submission of proof of practical experience, the candidate will receive the certificate Risk Manager. |

|
Additionally, the EOQ-Risk-Manager certificate can be issued on request. |
Validity of Certificate
3 years
Criteria of extension
- Proof (e.g. letter from employer, interim certification, self-declaration) about 2 years of professional practice in the field of risk management within the last 3 years.
- Refresher course Risk Management (RMM) or appropiate qualityaustria training.
Note
Should it not be possible to provide the proof of practical experience prior to the examination, it is still possible to take the examination. In this case, participants who pass the examination will obtain the certificate Risk Manager Candidate. As soon as Quality Austria receives the proof of practical experience the certificate will be upgraded free of charge.
