Refresher course for Integrated Management System

The integration of management systems poses challenges in two directions: on the one hand in the optimal linking together of the systems, so that synergies between the various requirements can be put to optimal use and on the other hand their embedding in the business processes, so that the systems can develop their full potential. Both aspects will be covered in the refresher course: The focal issues will be worked through by the participants themselves in the form of tasks from corporate practice; the most widely ranging best practice experience of the participants will be used and continuously supported by the trainers with appropriate inputs. In addition current developments in the area of the underlying norms and standards and the requirements of legal compliance will be presented, their relevance and use in real corporate practice will be explained and worked through.

Systems manager or auditor

Integrated system manager, quality, environmental, occupational health and safety, and/or risk manager, or persons who deal with integrated management systems.

• Developments in the areas of norms and standards (e.g. risk management, social responsibility, energy management etc.) and implementation possibilities in the company
• Experiences gained in audits, discussion of the participants' interest
• Legislative and normative new developments of relevance for integrated management systems (focus on quality, environment, occupational safety, risk)
• Tools for further development of integrated management systems (group work and presentations on selected issues)

Safety experts with a confirmation of participation of the refresher course integrated management system (RIMS) can apply for a proof of training for safety experts to Quality Austria.

This course is recognized by the Association of Austrian Safety Engineers / Safety Experts (Verband Österreichischer Sicherheitsingenieure / Sicherheitsexperten VÖSI) as further education for safety experts (3 points).
