The new IATF 16949:2016 has been published
The First Edition of IATF 16949:2016 has been published and replaces ISO/TS 16949:2009. This quality management system standard specifies the requirements placed on quality management systems for serial production and spare part production in the automotive industry in combination with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 9000:2015 as well as applicable customer-specific requirements of the automotive industry.
The new IATF 16949:2016 represents an innovative Standard that emphasizes a strong customer focus and takes account of some former customer-specific requirements in a consolidated way. Annex B also provides a guideline for the implementation of IATF 16949 requirements, unless otherwise specified by customer-specific requirements.
