IRIS goes ISO/TS 22163
2017 will be an exciting year for all IRIS-certified and interested! The new ISO/TS 22163 will be published mid-2017. This standard includes the core of the ISO 9001:2015, based - like all new ISO standards - on the structure of the annex SL (high level structure), and will be complemented by specific requirements from the railway industry.
Companies certified according to IRIS, have to upgrade on the ISO/TS 2216 at the latest 14.September 2018. The date is identical with the end of the transition period for ISO 9001:2008. Of course, Quality Austria will offer attractive seminars for ISO 22163:2017 beginners, as soon as the contents are permanently fixed.
2017 brings yet another innovation
Mr Wolfgang Pölz stands now - together with Mr Johann Vesely – by as product expert for the ISO/TS 22163 (former IRIS). Thus will help to push the international activities of Quality Austria also for ISO/TS22163 further.
